Bangkok Night1: The Breeze

I love the anticipation before going out for a fancy evening. Staci and I spoiled ourselves with a dinner for two at the The Breeze, Labua Hotel. So, we were careful to also dress for such an occasion.

Fireworks, five exotic sauces, stuffed lobster spring rolls, were only to name a few of the details during our dinner. The exotic mood, spices, and the perfect combination of favours, was the perfect end to our first night in Bangkok.

Bangkok Day 1: The Shangri-La

Staci and I are at the Shangri-La in Thailand! The interior decor is a unique fusion of traditional Thai prints with contemporary wooden furniture. Perfect break-fast in bed service and a nice dip at the pool. We started and ended our days with a cup of tea by the window.

Brunch & Thai Trip Planning

At Dosan Gongwon, Vechia & Nueva (brunch) with Staci to plan our trip to Thailand. Finally, I can go some place exotic and warm! My shopping hit list for Bangkok: bold vintage rings, floral prints, and great fabric finds at the famous Textile Market.

I was wearing: Isabel Marant Tweed Cropped Pants, J.Crew Loafers, Scarf from Bundang (boutique), & Prada Floral Tote

Carrot Cake Sundays

Jibbit's recommendation for the "best carrot cake" in Seoul, still remains unchallenged in my top cafe list. Ceci Cela has a hybrid ambience of French vibes mixed with lacy Korean interiors. I was convinced this was a spot that made me feel as if I was in Europe.

Spring Pink is here

Finally. The cold winters of Korea are almost at an end. I've been "storing" street finds from the past weeks: bright blouses, printed leggings, and some "pedal to the metal" pieces inspired by fashion week coverage on Net-a-porter.com.

Photographers grabbed trendy eye candy pedestrians.  Bazaar Korea sponsors were parading around, giving away small goodie bags with Spring Fashion Week magazines. Waves of chit chatty women in their black leggings, flocked to the nearest dessert cafe.

Spring is here.
