A Touch of Red

Frankly, many clothes in Korean boutiques look nice from outside. (Emphasis on "outside"). Koreans have mastered exhibition design to an alluring art, but they fail to deliver. Many clothes lack in quality and use poor material. You want to feel that thick and silky soft knit sweater fold in your hands. But it's rough. It's like crochet mixed with 10% cotton. This is the cold hard fact in a country that reacts to fashion trends with such speed.

But that fact never stops me from still trying to find that one piece with a decent price tag that matches its quality. Below are a pair of bright ruby heels I got off of a 40% Sale at Perche (collaboration with Miranda Kerr; Sinsa)

Warm Gold

Nothing like starting December with a warm scarf and hot chocolate. Good quality scarves are a great catch during holiday seasons at Department Stores. From prices starting at 25,000won to 40,000 won, it’s better to invest in the real thing: silk mixed or cashmere scarves. A better deal than purchasing from street markets. (Sinsa or Hongdae).
